Panel Session and Open Mic Q&A: Research Areas
for Investigation, and Where the
Dollars Are.
This session will bring
together the audience and government funding
agencies to explore fundamental challenges and focus
areas for new research funding. The goal for the
panelist is to determine the relevancy of the
challenges and potential new directions. The goal
for the audience will be to provide new concepts
that could be turned into white papers for the
community.
This final session is focused
on new ideas that will come from the community. To
allow sufficient time for ideas to be vetted, there
will be an open microphone session for participants
to propose research ideas. Participants who want 2
minutes to outline their idea should provide their
name and a paragraph describing the idea prior to
the meeting, either on the website (http://www.knowledgebasednetworking.org/SubmitAnIdea.html)
or at the door.
